Stanza Kay Maskrey, 62, of Hollandale passed away Monday, May 11, 2020, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Stanza Maskrey

Stanza was born February 27, 1958, in North St. Paul to George and Kathleen Peterson. She was a graduate of North High School and retired as a longtime Minnesota state employee.

Stanza always lived life to the fullest, and had an upbeat, spunky personality — which brought a smile to the faces of all who knew and loved her. She had a love of music and in her earlier years enjoyed playing her guitar while singing songs by the Judds and other favorite artists. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, doing puzzles and gardening at her country home. Spending time with her family was especially important to Stanza. She so loved her grandchildren and her dogs Buddy and Colby.
