Vehicle fire reported

A vehicle was reported fully engulfed by fire at 8:55 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 90 near milepost 161. The fire was put out by the Albert Lea and Clarks Grove fire departments. 

 

1 arrested for DWI

Deputies arrested Shannon Nicole Risnes, 40, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, second-degree test refusal, speeding and open container violation after a traffic stop at 2:16 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and Freeborn County Road 92. 

 

Break-ins reported

A shed was reported broken into at 4:10 p.m. Sunday at 402 Independence Ave. S. in Clarks Grove. The incident reportedly happened overnight. Nothing was missing or damaged. 

A storage unit was reported broken into at 10:35 p.m. Friday at 401 Pilot St. Items were reported stolen. 

 

4 cited for underage drinking

Four teenagers were cited for underage drinking at 3:13 a.m. Friday in the North Broadway parking lot at the intersection of North Broadway and Fountain Street. 

 

Thefts reported

A gas drive-off was reported at 8:07 a.m. Friday at 2717 Bridge Ave. A vehicle left without paying for $16 in gas. The theft reportedly took place at 7:55 a.m.

Gas was reported stolen out of a few cars at 8:23 a.m. Friday at 1401 S.E. Broadway. The theft occurred earlier in the week. 

A theft of money was reported at 1:56 p.m. Friday at 2201 E. Main St.

Police cited Timothy Richard Dunn, 60, for misdemeanor theft at 6:29 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. 

An attempted theft was reported at 8:14 p.m. Saturday at 1550 Blake Ave. 

Motorcycle bags were reported gone through and items missing at 12:15 p.m. Sunday at 305 E. Third St.

 

Hit-and-run crashes reported

Police received a report at 11:55 a.m. Friday of a hit-and-run crash that was believed to have happened the day before at the Kwik Trip on Front Street. Damage was estimated at about $500. 

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 9:24 p.m. Friday at 2019 E. Main St. 

 

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Brandon David Stigney, 36, on a local warrant at 6:47 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and Interstate 90. 

Police arrested Miguel Angel Munos, 31, on an arrest and detain hold at 3:31 a.m. Saturday at 1415 Frank Ave. 

 

1 cited for disorderly conduct

Police cited Annabelle Marie Wagner, 54, for disorderly conduct at 10:53 p.m. Saturday at 321 E. Third St.

 

1 arrested for domestic assault

Police arrested Jacob Joseph Ciert, 30, for domestic assault at 5:54 p.m. Saturday at 1525 Margaretha Ave. 

 

House fire reported

A house was reported on fire at 2:22 a.m. Monday at 106 First Ave. in Myrtle.
