Freeborn County Emergency Management Director Rich Hall said 911 services have been restored.

The outage appears to have been caused by a large fiber cut in the Green Bay area.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office sent out an alert Monday afternoon stating the 911 system for the county was down.

If people have an emergency, they should call 377-5200, extension 5.
