Turkey Bowl in its 56th year

: Players gathered for the 56th time to play the morning Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl football game at lower Abbott field on Thursday. The young teenagers who organized the streak in 1966 are still there, including former athletes from hockey, baseball, football, track, basketball and wresting. The 56-year streak is the longest known neighborhood buddies football game played in the United States on Thanksgiving. Provided
