1 injured after semis collided on I-35 during snowstorm

A Hartland man was taken to the hospital Friday evening after three semis collided on Interstate 35 south of Clarks Grove during heavy snow.

Raymond Wesley Toot, 71, was taken by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for injuries deemed not life-threatening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The report stated Toot was the driver of one of three semis, which were all traveling southbound shortly before 7:30 p.m. on the intestate when they collided.

The other two drivers, Jose Glenn Lujan, 64, of El Paso, Texas, and Mohamed Abdihakim Abdullah, 35, of Sioux City, Nebraska were not injured.
