An NRHEG runner who competed at the Class A State Track Meet last week finished 13th in the 800-meter race.

Coach Duey Ferber said though Quinn VanMaldeghem didn’t qualify for the finals, she bettered her school record with a time of 2:25.74.
“We are all proud of how she handled herself in a pressure situation,” he said. “Very proud of this young lady.”
