Paul Clayton Nelson, born June 8, 1953, to Clayton and Agnes (Myrin) Nelson in Albert Lea MN; he was 70 years old.

Paul was raised in Albert Lea with his brother and sisters, Myrna, Charles, and Ramona. Attended North Side School in Albert Lea. His favorite times as a child, when he would spend weekends on the farm, his mother’s home, visiting with his uncles and cousins. Later in life Paul found happiness in reading about space and trains as well as comic books.

Paul prided himself as a hard worker and a comedian, believing he’d most remembered for “giving the business and making people laugh”.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Agnes Nelson, older brother Myrin Nelson and brother-in-law Erling Lindstrom.

Left to cherish Paul’s memory are his sisters Myrna Lindstrom and Ramona Nelson, brother Charles Nelson, sister-in-law Dortha and their son David.

Paul had various jobs through Opportunity Partners. The last job was at Lakewinds Grocery and Whole Foods in Minnetonka, MN.

Paul will be buried at Hillcrest Cemetery during a private family service. A memorial service for Paul will be held at 2:00 PM on November 2, 2023 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Twin Cities at 4100 Lyndale Ave S Minneapolis, MN 55409; visitation will begin at 1:30 PM.
