Snacks and Stories With Santa

Come to AJ’s Book Hideaway from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday for a special story and snack time with Santa. Children can also write a letter to Rudolph and make craft treats for Santa trays. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the AJ’s Book Hideaway Facebook page at https://fb.me/e/1r5s7NV2r. Professional photo keepsakes will be available for $10, or guests may opt to take their own.

Northwood Christmas Market

It’s time for Northwood’s annual Christmas Market. There will be lots of fun, unique and homemade gifts for everyone. This year’s annual fundraiser supports the Northwood local community center and food pantry. The market will be open during select hours through Dec. 23. Lucky’s Pub Ugly Sweater Night and Live Music

Come to Lucky’s Pub in Hayward on Friday wearing your ugliest sweater and enjoy some live music by acoustic soul mover, Jesse Smith. Those who wear an ugly sweater will earn a free shot beginning at 4 p.m. (limit one per person). Music will start at 5:30 p.m.

Albert Lea Ugly Sweater Skate

The city of Albert Lea Recreation Department will host an ugly sweater skate at the Albert Lea City Arena from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $5 and includes skate rental. There will be an ugly sweater contest, music and prizes.

Bleachers “Elf Party”

Celebrate the holiday season at Bleachers Sports Bar and Grill for their “Elf Party” at 7 p.m. Friday. Events will include an ugly sweater contest, drink specials and other games. Enter the Buddy the Elf spaghetti-eating contest for the chance to win a grand prize.
