Albert Lea dance team places fifth in conference

On Friday evening the Albert Lea dance team competed in its conference Big 9 competition.
The high kick team placed fourth, and the jazz team placed fifth. The team placed fifth overall in conference. All-Conference athletes are Sydney Kokot and Kendra Knutson. Honorable Mention athletes are Hannah Schuhmacher and Zoie Jensen.
On Saturday, the junior varsity and varsity teams competed in New Prague. The varsity jazz team placed third and the varsity kick team placed fifth. The JV kick and jazz team both took home third place.
