Easter Extravaganza

United Methodist Church in Albert Lea will host its sixth annual Easter Extravaganza from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. There will be activities for kids of all ages including face painting, arts and crafts, games and photos with the Easter Bunny. Spring Fling Stop and Shop

Come support Glenville-Emmons Elementary School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday for the Spring Fling Stop and Shop. This event will take place at the elementary school. The GE Post Prom will serve a pulled pork and mac and cheese meal, and there will be a variety of vendors to shop from. This will also be the last day to buy Girl Scout cookies from local youth before they’re gone for the year. Albert Lea Figure Skating Club’s 2024 show

The kids at the Albert Lea Figure Skating Club have been hard at work, and the time has finally come for the club’s annual skating show. This year’s theme is “Sun, Sand and Sea.” Come and support this local group as they show off their skills. There is a show at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and free for children 4 and younger. Tickets can be purchased at the door or through any of the club members.

Spring Fling Craft and Vendor Show

St. John’s Lutheran Community will host a craft and vendor show from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday  in the Fountain Lake chapel. There will be a variety of crafts, gift items and baked goods for people to browse and purchase. Campfire Cafe will also be open with three different specials during the event. Fat City All Stars Band at Golden Bubble

Stop at the Golden Bubble on Saturday evening to see live music by the band Fat City All Stars. The band plays a wide variety of rock, country, pop and more. There will be wood-fired pizza by Mike Gormley and Tim Stenzel. Doors open at 5:50 p.m., and the band will hit the stage at 7 p.m.
