Team already setting personal, school records
The Lake Mills girls’ track and field team is off to a successful start so far this season.
The team completed its third indoor track meet at Clear Lake on Thursday.
In just three meets they have already had a school record broken, a school top 10 performance, a several of personal record performances and near school top 10 performances, said coach Skyler Ahrens.
“As a coach, I could not be more pleased with their attitudes, effort and love for each other, which are the core values of our program,” Ahrens said. “The girls have truly exceeded expectations at this point of the season.”
