The city of Albert Lea announced Wednesday morning that the Easter egg hunt slated for Saturday is being moved to the City Arena, 701 Lake Chapeau Drive, due to ground conditions from recent weather and the forecast.

The hunt will be divided into age groups:

  • 9 – 9:30 a.m.: Ages 4 and younger
  • 9:40 -10:10 a.m.: Ages 5-7
  • 10:20 – 10:50 a.m.: Ages 8-11

People should bring baskets or bags for collecting eggs, and arrive no more than 15 minutes before your child’s age slot to avoid overcrowding. There will be plenty of colorful eggs to collect, filled with sweet treats and prizes, including passes to the Albert Lea Aquatic Center.
