Ground temperatures will be cold enough for snow to accumulate, but blowing snow is not expected.

A second larger system could impact the region Sunday into Tuesday.

As of Thursday morning, the weather agency stated there is a 50 to 70% chance that Albert Lea and the surrounding areas will see 6 inches of snow from that storm, which could also be mixed with rain and sleet.

Strong winds of 25 to 35 mph could also bring impacts, and travel will again be impacted.
