Project: Replacement of windows

Report: The Albert Lea Art Center’s project that was funded included replacement of three windows on the north side of the facility. The three north windows along Clark Street were old and were no longer sealed properly. This allowed the windows to sometimes fog up in the summertime and ice up in the winter, especially when the wind was coming from the north or northwest.

The project has been a great benefit to our organization. Replacing the old windows has made the Art Center look more appealing to the community. With the previous windows constantly fogging up, the place just looked run-down. Plus, properly sealed windows will save on our utilities bill, which means more available to us to spend on arts programming.

The board of directors would like to thank the Freeborn County Communities Foundation for the grant money to complete the project.
