To the Albert Lea community,

I am writing to express my strong support for the upcoming referendum to update the City Arena, Aquatic Center, Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, and add restrooms at the Splash Pad. As a resident who cherishes the recreational opportunities our town provides, I believe investing in these facilities is essential for the well-being and vitality of our community.

The City Arena, Aquatic Center, Marion Ross Performing Arts Center and Splash Pad are not just places for leisure; they are hubs of activity where families come together, where children learn valuable skills and where friendships are forged. However, it’s evident that these facilities are in need of modernization to better serve the needs of our great community.

By voting in favor of this referendum, we can ensure that our community facilities remain safe, accessible and enjoyable for generations to come. Updated facilities will attract more visitors, boost local businesses and enhance the overall quality of life in our town.

Furthermore, investing in recreational infrastructure demonstrates our commitment to promoting health, wellness and community engagement. Let’s seize this opportunity to create spaces that foster active lifestyles and bring our community closer together.

I urge my fellow residents to support the referendum and help shape a brighter future for our town.
