Should juries be required to hear both the prosecution and defense? I know if I were on trial for a murder I did not commit, I would want the jury to hear both sides.

I believe we should take our right to vote as seriously as a jury takes their vote in a verdict. The far left owns most mainstream media (MSM) outlets, including ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN, all promoting a far-left agenda. The only right-leaning MSM company is Fox. In fact, 96% of media donations went to Hillary in 2016 and President Biden in 2020.

It is impossible to make an informed decision unless you hear both sides. If you were a juror, you would be required to listen to both sides equally. If there are readers only listening to conservative talk radio or Fox, I would recommend balancing it with left-wing media just as I recommend persons getting information from left-wing sources like NPR, New York Times or CBS to get information from an equal number of right-wing sources. Even if you try to balance your information intake, almost all our movies and prime-time programming are pushing left-wing propaganda. The book “Primetime Propaganda” by Ben Shapiro does a good job of exposing Hollywood’s push towards socialism. Socialist governments like Nazi-Germany, Russia and Cuba are voted in with the help of left-wing propaganda. I suggest before you vote in the next election get information from both sides while you still can. According to the left, our democracy is under attack by the right. According to the right our constitutional republic is under attack by the left.

Our constitutional republic is different than a democracy. In a constitutional republic we have individual rights that cannot be infringed on by the majority, like free speech and the right to bear arms. Both are under attack by the left. Democrats/socialists have proposed misinformation boards mandating government-controlled speech — you know like China and Russia. Democrats/socialists want to ban rifles, which kill less people than knives in the U.S.

A socialist democracy is like two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for supper. In a democracy the majority can abuse minority rights with a 51% vote for the abuse. We are the greatest nation in history because of our individual rights afforded by our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Socialism may sound good in books like Karl Marx’s “Communist Manifesto” or Noam Chomsky’s “Consequences of Capitalism,” but equity never works out. To balance the previous two books with a right leaning book, read “Socialism: The Failed Idea That Never Dies” by Kristian Niemietz. When hard work is not rewarded and everyone is paid almost the same, you get less hard work. Why work more hours or educate yourself if you get paid the same? In a free society your wealth is determined by your service to society. In a socialist society your wealth is determined by your service to the socialist/Democrat party.
