Margaret Kay (Flynn) Schuller passed away after several years of suffering with body dementia and finally pneumonia, May 9th, 2024. She was born March 23, 1930 to parents John and Lillian Flynn in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She was the youngest of three daughters. As a teenager, in 1946, “Muggs” (as she was called by her high school friends), got a job as a car hop at the local A&W Root Beer drive-in. That became her lifelong employment. She managed this drive-in until she retired in 1979. She married her boss’s son, Louis Schuller the following year. They lived in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin for six months and their condo in Holmes Beach, Florida during winter months. She had no children, but Muggs adored her nephews John (Gloria), Alan (Mi Yong), James, and Bryan (Dianne). Upon Louis’s death, she moved to Portland to be near her sister, Gloria. She continued to fly to Florida in the winter for many years. Physical ailments finally forced her to sell her Florida condo and move back permanently to Vancouver, Washington. She is predeceased by her parents; husband Louis, Sister Lila, and nephews John and James. She is interred at Lincoln Memorial Park, Portland, Oregon.
