Beginning Monday, there will be changes in Albert Lea Medical Center&8217;s Urgent Care and Family Practice Departments:

Urgent Care hours will change to 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, but will remain open weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Patients will be seen on the clinic&8217;s fourth floor between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays without an appointment.

Patients may check in on the clinic&8217;s fourth floor without an appointment weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., when Urgent Care is closed. Patients will be seen on a first come, first-served basis with the next available provider.

ALMC continues to encourage patients to choose a regular provider and schedule appointments, as needed. An ongoing relationship with one provider will allow you to feel more comfortable asking questions and talking about sensitive issues that may be affecting your health. It also benefits the provider as he or she becomes familiar with you and your family and your specific health care concerns.
