To Eddie Cochran.

Our local son who made it big in rock ‘n’ roll was inducted into the Minnesota Rock & Country Hall of Fame. He enters the hall with inductees Houle Brothers, Baby Doo Caston, Billy Folger, Andrews Sisters, Texas Bill Strength and Amos Heilicher. You might ask yourself why Eddie Cochran wasn’t inducted sooner. The Minnesota Rock & Country Hall of Fame is only in its third year. Eddie got in before Prince.

To the lack of federal funding for securing the Minnesota-Canada border.

The federal government reduced the amount of security funds for the state of Minnesota and it completely cut all the the funds for security along the Canadian border. Sheriffs in counties along the border are worried. This comes at a time the feds are investigating an alleged terrorist plot in Canada that involves 17 suspects. You call this Homeland Security? We guess the money was used to secure Iraq, not America.
