Hortensia Fitzlaff, 42 of Naples, Fla. died Friday, May 12, 2006.

Hortensia was born in Cuba, March 26, 1964, and came to Miami in 1966 where she resided before moving to Naples in 1987. She was a member of St. William Church. She was formerly employed as a secretary for the Lake Park Elementary School in Naples for 10 years and then provided home day care for several years. She was a volunteer for both the Vineyards and Osceola Elementary Schools as well as involved with the PTA and SAC.

A loving mother, wife, daughter and sister, she is survived by her husband, Michael; three children, Carina, Carissa, and Adam. Her mother, Hortensia Pereda, her brothers and sisters; Marisol Peters, Fidel (Cathy) Pereda, Blanca Pereda, Armand Julian; her mother and father-in-law, Richard and Janet Fitzlaff; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Sherry (Randy) Beckjorden, Jim (Kathy) Fitzlaff; Lori (Steve) Classon; Troy (Jenny) Fitzlaff; She is also survived by several

nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Armando Pereda in 2004.

She will remain always in our hearts and memories forever. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday, May 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, Fla. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at St. William Church in Naples, cremation to follow.
