Police arrested Scott Alan Given, 40, for domestic assault, interference with a 911 call and obstruction after police received a call at about 6 p.m. Wednesday at 411 Lakeview Blvd. Dispatchers told police they had received a call of a man being physical toward a woman at the residence.

 

Woman arrested for conduct

Police arrested Brittany Simpson, 24, for disorderly conduct and public nuisance violations at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday from 121 1/2 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Vehicle reported stolen

A 1995 Oldsmobile Achevia was reported stolen at 9:37 a.m. Wednesday from 1706 Johnson St., according to reports.

 

Cranes sighted

Whooping cranes, one of America’s most endangered birds, have been sighted in Rice and Le Sueur counties.

“It is vital to give the birds the respect and distance they need,” according to a Department of Natural Resources press release.
