Robert W. Gregerson, 72, Grand Meadow

Memorial services for Robert W. Gregerson, Grand Meadow, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21,

at the Bear Crack Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bernard Daiker officiating. There will be no visitation. Hindt Hutchins Funeral Home, Grand Meadow, is in charge of arrangements.

Robert (Bob) Gregerson, age 72, of Grand Meadow, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at the Grand Meadow Health Care Center where he had resided since May 2000.

Robert Gregerson was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Freeborn County to Gilbert and Mathilda (Lindahl) Gregerson. He was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. He attended Albert Lea High School and graduated in 1949. Robert married Maxine Peterson on May 31, 1952 at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.

Bob had various service station attendant jobs and pulled mobile homes until moving to Rochester in 1961, where he worked at Gambles in the Miracle Mile in the small motor shop, The family then moved to Grand Meadow in 1964. He attended Canby Area Technical School and worked as the area sales manager for Pride Seed Company. Bob and his wife Maxine operated the Amoco Service Station in Grand Meadow, retiring in 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine of Grand Meadow; seven children: Roberta &uot;Robbie&uot; (Lyle) Julson, Ramona “Moni” Anderson of Grand Meadow, Rebecca “Becky” (Dan) Clemens of Deer Harbor, Wash., Georgia (Jeff) Ramaker of Lyle, Todd (Phyllis) Gregerson of Grand Meadow, Jeanine (Scott) Bly of Spring Valley, and Michelle (Greg) Mettler of Cleveland, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters-in-law: Doris Gregerson and Bernie Gregerson, both of Albert Lea; and also many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.
