Sen. Al Franken has asked Dan Soloman, state education director, and Nate Arch, regional director, to conduct meetings around the state with school officials. The two men will be in Albert Lea on Dec. 12 to hear from administrators what successes they’ve had and challenges the school district is facing.

The staffers will share more about what Franken is doing in Washington, D.C., and his work to improve public education. Franken is on the Senate’s Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee and has conducted ongoing education meetings in communities across the state.
