Carl D. Dubey, age 50, of Welch, Minn., passed away on Oct. 25, 2002.

He was preceded in death by father-in-law, Anton Cech; and brother-in-law, Robert Nelson.

He is survived by wife, Valorae; parents, Clayton and Eleanor Dubey; sisters: Vicki and Peggy; mother-in-law, Josephine Cech; brother-in-law, Delyn Cech; sister-in-law, Garnys Nelson; and nieces, nephews and friends.

Carl belonged to the Cannon Falls Ridge Riders Saddle Club. He enjoyed showing horses, trail riding, camping, reading western books and watching western movies.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Ellis-Wise Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. A gathering will be one hour prior to service.

Memorials are preferred to the family.
