A live nativity, Christmas story and soup supper will take place on Dec. 11 in Bolan, Iowa. Narration will take place at 5 p.m.

Larry and Kristy Ausborn of Bolan are providing the animals. The manger scene will take place in the former “Bolan Store wood floor feed shed”. The Rev. Don Preston will narrate from the Bible books of Luke and Matthew.

Trinity United Methodist Church of Bolan is hosting the event along with a homemade Soup Supper. The free-will offering from the meal will go toward a mission project. Serving begins at 4 p.m.

Families may bring clothing to be angels, shepherds, or wisemen.  “Rehearsal” will be held in the garage of Scott and Lori Willert, 4211 Tulip Lane in Bolan, at 4:30 p.m.
