Churches plan sales and suppers for the weekend

Trinity Lutheran Church of New Richland

Trinity Lutheran Church of New Richland will be holding its annual meatball dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Menu includes homemade meatballs, real mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, corn, fresh melon, dinner roll, pie and beverage. The cost for adults is $9, for children 6 to 9 years old is $5 and 5 and under are free. Carry outs are available by calling 465-3635. This event is co-sponsored by the Trinity Women of the ELCA and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

 

First Lutheran Church of Glenville

Glenville First Lutheran Church Women’s annual fall festival will be held Saturday. Rolls and coffee will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Donations will be accepted. A meatball dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost for adults will be $6, children from 4 to 10 years old will be $3 and children 3 and under are free. There will be raffle items and baked goods for sale.

 

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Albert Lea

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Albert Lea will hold its bazaar and bake sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Lunch will be $6.50 for vegetable beef soup, sloppy joe, pie and coffee. There will be a raffle drawing for a quilt. Tickets are $5 for one or $10 for three. Full size and baby quilts will also be for sale.
