Wedding: Danberry & Wels

Tara Danberry and Derek Wels exchanged wedding vows and became husband and wife on Saturday, May 1, 2010. They were married at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church in Albert Lea. Deacon Mike Ellis performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Ron Danberry, of Waseca, and Kristy Danberry, of Mankato. Parents of the groom are Leo and Debbie Wels, of Lewisville.

Matron of honor was Lana Eilertson, of Coal City, Ill., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Fiebelkorn, of Mankato, friend of the bride, Jessica Armitage, of Wilmont, friend of the bride, and Lindsey Mickelson, of Clarks Grove, sister of the groom.

Flower girl was Azira Eilertson, of Coal City, Ill., niece of the bride.

Personal attendant was Shanna Eckberg, of Albert Lea, sister-in-law of the groom.

Best man was Bradley Eckberg, of Albert Lea, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Rhett Mohwinkel, of Grand Forks, N.D., friend of the groom, Awaz Johnson, of Albert Lea, friend of the groom, Anthony Salter, of Albert Lea, friend of the groom, Chris Fransen, of Shakopee, friend of the groom.

Ring bearer was Zakary Treichel, of Libby, Mont., nephew of the bride.

Ushers were Jamie Sargent, of Mankato, cousin of the bride, and Jeremiah Mickelson, of Clarks Grove, brother-in-law of the groom.

A reception was held at America’s Best Value Inn in Albert Lea followed by a dance with music provided by Tammy & Friends of Lewisville.

The couple have made their home at 1703 Johnson St., Albert Lea.
