Val Sahr grabbed her 1,000th rebound in her career on Tuesday as the United South Central Rebels girls’ basketball team defeated the Mankato Loyola Crusaders 52-24 in Mankato.

Sahr ,who had 15 rebounds on the night, now has passed the 1,000 mark in her career for points and rebounds.

Danielle Koestler and Kristie Ovrebo led the Rebels with 11 points a piece.

USC is back in action on Friday as they play Medford in Wells.
