Art Center volunteers: There are two events coming up for the Art Center in the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday timeframe: the All Member Show gallery exhibit now through the end of February and then the Elementary and Secondary Student Art Show in March and April. Pelican Breeze II: Thinking spring? You can offer passenger hospitality as first mate on the Pelican Breeze II. They are also looking for a volunteer to handle crew-scheduling for the scenic tours. Headstart: Reading stories with and listening to preschoolers at the Brookside Education Center is a key step for getting them ready for kindergarten. Three readers are most welcome! Opportunities are Mondays through Thursdays, late morning or early afternoon. Call 379-5160 to schedule a time that works for you. A volunteer for office tasks is also needed.

RSVP, a program of Senior Resources of Freeborn County, receives some funding through the United Way of Freeborn County, the Minnesota Board on Aging and the Corporation for National and Community Service.
