FORT MYERS, FL – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned six players to minor league camp, according to a press release.

Catcher Chris Herrmann was optioned to Triple-A Rochester, while right-handed pitchers B.J. Hermsen, Trevor May, Michael Tonkin, catcher Josmil Pinto and infielder Danny Santana were optioned to Double-A New Britain.

The Twins now have 56 players in camp: 27 pitchers (8 non-roster), 7 catchers (4 non-roster), 12 infielders (6 non-roster) and 10 outfielders (4 non-roster).
