Deputies respond to vehicles stuck in snow, in ditch

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to at least two dozen reports of vehicles stuck in the snow or that had traveled into the ditch on Thursday.

 

Police respond to downed lines, trees

Albert Lea police responded to at least 30 reports of downed power lines or downed trees, according to reports.

 

Woman arrested for DWI

Albert Lea police arrested Pamela Jean Ready, 56, for driving while intoxicated after receiving a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle at 205 N. Ermina Ave. at 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to reports.

 

Car broken into

A car was reported broken into at 805 Freeborn Ave. at 7:18 a.m. Thursday, according to Albert Lea police.

 

Vehicles reported damaged

Vehicles were reported damaged at Motor Inn Co., 2114 E. Main St. in Albert Lea, 11:15 a.m. Thursday, police reported.

 

Fire reported

A small electrical fire was reported at Perkins, 2215 E. Main St., at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, according to Albert Lea police. Reports indicated the Albert Lea Fire Department responded and put out the fire. It was unclear as of press time where the fire originated.

 

Man cited for criminal damage

Albert Lea police cited Jeremiah Edward Fenney, 29, for criminal damage after receiving a report of potential break-in at 509 Ulstad Ave. at 12:45 a.m. today, according to reports.
