Forty units of blood were collected at the April 30 blood drive. The event benefitted the Freeborn-Mower chapter of the American Red Cross.

The total was 15 units short of the goal.

A one-gallon pin was awarded to Katie Johnson, three-gallon pins were awarded to Cathy Legried and Renee Ruble and a 15-gallon pin was awarded to Scott Schroader.
