Law enforcement officers responded to two calls of reported suicide threats on Thursday and one successful suicide.

The Albert Lea Police Department logs state two cases were reported within city limits, and the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office log indicate one was reported outside of city limits in the county.

It is Tribune policy to not report details of suicides or suicide attempts when they remain out of the public realm, such as in a home, rather than in a street.
