The Albert Lea Police Department sent out a notification Friday that a Level 3 sex offender living in Austin has started working in Albert Lea.

Steven Robert Spore, 42, began working at a business on Myers Road on Monday, according to authorities.

He has a history of sexual contact with juvenile males under 13, including fondling and penetration, the fact sheet states.

He was known to his victims and used his authority to gain compliance.

He is described as a white man with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is 6-feet tall and weighs 243 pounds. He has short hair with a mustache and wears glasses.

He was released from prison Dec. 31.
