At the Dec. 9 City Council meeting, Alliant Energy presented Mayor Vern Rasmussen with a check for $9,915.96 for rebates relating to energy improvements at City Center. It includes a $5,000 rebate for improvements made to the R-value of the City Hall roof and $4,915.96 from the 2012 lighting upgrades at City Hall which included T-5 fluorescent lighting and occupancy sensors in the building. — Submitted
