2 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Chad Albert Lenze for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 2:27 a.m. Sunday at 1119 S. Broadway.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Holly Marie Nelson, 30, for second-degree driving while intoxicated and driving after suspension at 5:20 p.m. Saturday at 206 First St. S.E. in Clarks Grove.

 

Vehicles reported stolen

A 1998 green Park Avenue was reported missing from 2114 E. Main St. at 7:36 a.m. Friday. The vehicle had been missing for more than a month.

A white Cadillac DeVille was reported stolen from 1119 S. Broadway at 2:17 a.m. Saturday. It was located at 8:03 a.m. near the intersection of Virginia Place and East Fifth Street.

 

Police bust drinking party

Albert Lea police made multiple arrests Friday night after receiving a report of a possible juvenile drinking party at 911 S. Newton Ave. Reports stated police arrested Willie James Britten III for disorderly conduct, John Paul Laganiere for obstructing justice and disorderly conduct, and Michale Allen Dieser for underage drinking and providing false information. Two juveniles were cited for underage drinking.

 

Items reported stolen

A laptop was reported stolen at 9:59 a.m. Friday from The Children’s Center, 605 James Ave.

Money was reported stolen at 4:03 p.m. Friday from 909 Plainview Lane.

A bottle of prescription pain medication was reported stolen from a truck being worked on at 621 E. 11th St. at 6:19 p.m. Friday.

A purse containing $300 was reported stolen from a cart at 2308 Hendrickson Road at 10:43 a.m. Saturday.

A shovel and grill were reported stolen from 401 Adams Ave. at 2:28 p.m. Saturday. The total loss was estimated at $40.

 

Man arrested for violations

Albert Lea police arrested Dallas Corey Jacobsen for driving after suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia and a local warrant after a traffic stop at 6:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and Shoff Park.

 

1 cited after crash

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office cited a juvenile for underage drinking and driving and other violations after a reported motor vehicle crash at 1:22 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Freeborn County roads 13 and 34.

 

Man arrested for assault, violation

Albert Lea police arrested Adrial Benjamin Mendez for felony domestic assault and an order for protection violation at 12:58 a.m. Sunday tied to an alleged incident at 3:23 a.m. Friday at 210 E. Front St.
