MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota has added three players to its 2014-15 recruiting class, including Minnesota native Zach Lofton.

Gophers coach Richard Pitino also announced the signing of Gaston Diedhiou and Bakary Konate to national letters of intent on Monday.

Lofton played in high school at Columbia Heights, helping the Hylanders reach the Class 3A championship game as a senior. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 11.3 points as a sophomore last season at Illinois State. He spent his freshman season at San Jacinto College in Texas.
