Vandalism reported

A window was reported broken out at 9:52 a.m. Monday near the playground at 400 Fifth Ave. in Freeborn.

Vandalism was reported at 9:24 a.m. Monday at Lakeview Elementary School, 902 Abbott St. in Albert Lea.

A tan Chevy Malibu was reported damaged in a parking lot at 1:39 p.m. Monday at 1704 Sunset St. in Albert Lea.

A juvenile with a BB gun reportedly shot a window at 4:31 p.m. Monday at Arrow Printing, 514 W. Main St. Albert Lea police logs state the juvenile was given a ride home.

 

Multiple thefts, break-ins reported

Checks were reported stolen from a van at 2:34 p.m. Monday at 1011 Garfield Ave.

Bundles of shingles were reported missing at 3:12 p.m. Monday from Freeborn Lumber, 971 W. Plaza St. The thefts appeared to be ongoing, and a fence was reported cut.

Albert Lea police received a report at 3:37 p.m. Monday of a house that was broken into at 409 Garfield Ave. Prescription medications were reported stolen.

A tablet was reported stolen at 9:18 p.m. Monday from 2328 Gene Ave.

 

Man cited for gas drive-off

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Joseph Peter Marko for a gas drive-off at 2:12 p.m. Monday from 23087 State Highway 13. The citation was expected to be mailed.

 

1 cited for drinking violation

Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies cited Uriel Sanchez-Sanchez for open bottle violations after receiving a report at 4 p.m. Monday of three men drinking in a vehicle who had just turned off of Minnesota Highway 13 onto Freeborn County Road 101.
