Lauren Draayer and Cory Hansen, both of Albert Lea, announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Jacque Draayer and Jeff Draayer, granddaughter of Lupe Gasca and the late Judy Gasca, and Shirley and Vern Anderson. She is a 2015 graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire with a degree in actuarial science.

The groom is the son of Jon and Vicki Hansen, grandson of Dave and Lorraine Horning and the late Elmer & Aileen Hansen. He is a 2015 graduate of Bethel University with a degree in elementary education with a math emphasis.

An Oct. 2, 2015, wedding is planned in Albert Lea.
