MOORHEAD — Police said five people were hurt in a fight involving knives in Moorhead.

Moorhead police said in a news release that an initial investigation suggests the early Saturday morning fight began as a domestic incident. According to police, a female had gone to her neighbors’ home for help and a group of people began fighting.

The news release said officers stopped a vehicle driving away from the scene and found two male passengers with serious stab wounds. They were taken to an area hospital, and police said their condition was not known.

Officers also found a woman at the scene with lacerations on her arm, and she was transported to a hospital. Two males were later found with stab wounds on their extremities and one was taken to a hospital.

Police said no one was in custody.
