Senior Resources’ Family Caregivers Network will host two support groups on Thursday for area caregivers, according to a press release. There are two support group meetings to choose from, one at 1:30 p.m. and another at 3 p.m. Both will take place in the Thorne Crest Senior Living Community conference room.

If caregivers would like to bring the care recipient, supervision and refreshments are provided in an adjacent room during the support group meeting. The groups meet each month on the third Thursday, and offer encouragement and ideas for those providing care for another, whether that person is at home or has moved to an alternate living facility.
