Last state park church service of the season is this weekend

Nondenominational church services will be offered this weekend at Myre-Big Island State Park for the last time this season.

According to a press release, services start at 8 a.m. Sunday and casual dress is encouraged.

Services are in the outdoor chapel area near the pavilion on the big island. In case of rain, they will be in the pavilion.

The retired Rev. Joyce Shaman of Albert Lea will lead this Sunday’s service.

There is no cost to attend, but those in attendance will need a valid vehicle sticker to enter the state park. Services last approximately 30 minutes.
