House damaged by fire

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 8:28 a.m. Wednesday of a fire in the front of a house at 84723 265th St. in Hollandale. Smoke was reported in the entryway. Sheriff’s logs stated the fire was put out.

 

5 arrested on warrants

Deputies arrested Brett Thomas Green, 31, on a local warrant at 9:38 p.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway.

Deputies arrested Andria Alizabeth Baas, 37, on a local warrant at 1:09 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway.

Police arrested Allen Michael Jensen, 48, on a warrant at 3:07 a.m. Wednesday at 836 S. Newton Ave.

Police arrested Ricky Allen Severtson, 68, on an arrest and detain hold warrant at 1:04 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway.

Police arrested Johnna Faye Vanguilder, 33, on a Washington County warrant and giving a false name at 1:27 a.m. Thursday at 1012 Fountain St.

 

Window shot out

A window was reported shot out at 10:56 a.m. Wednesday at 1137 S. Broadway. The incident reportedly happened overnight Monday.

 

Theft reported

Police received a report of a theft at 4:44 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The suspects had reportedly switched barcodes on items.

 

Fraudulent Facebook sale reported

Police received a report at 2:22 p.m. Thursday of fraudulent Polaris Sportsmans parts for sale or trade on Facebook.

 

Counterfeit bills, checks reported

Counterfeit checks were reported passed at 1:38 p.m. Wednesday at Wells Fargo, 122 E. Main St.

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported received in the drive-thru at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Burger King, 2011 E. Main St.

 

Hit-and-run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 8:39 a.m. Thursday at 702 E. 13th St. in Albert Lea.
