The Minnesota State High School League released an update to the spring activity participation guidelines Wednesday afternoon.

In the press release, the MSHSL announced effective immediately all participation in league-sponsored activities is suspended. Participation includes, but is not limited to, competitions, training, practices, scrimmages and contests.

The suspension will be in effect until the Gov. Tim Walz has lifted his school closure declaration. At that time, return to participation protocols will be determined and communicated by the MSHSL Board and MSHSL staff.
