Walgreens offers flu vaccine

Walgreens in Albert Lea is once again offering flu shots during pharmacy hours.

A flier from Walgreens about the shots says this year’s vaccine protects people for seasonal flu virus as well as the H1N1 virus.

It also states: “The Centers for Disease Control is now recommending that everyone age 6 months and over get a flu shot.”

No appointments are necessary, and insurance plans are billed directly. The pharmacy hours for Walgreens, 703 E. Main St., are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
