Ronald Wagner, 63, of Isanti, died March 28, 2011, at his home.

Ronald Allen Wagner was born Jan. 2, 1948, in Albert Lea. He was raised in Hollandale and graduated from Albert Lea High School, class of 1966, and where he lettered in football. Ronald attended Mankato State College where he earned honors. He was employed in the railroad industry for 20 years. On Nov. 12, 2005, he married Linda Ogdahl at Camp Richardson, Lake Tahoe, Calif. They made their home in Isanti. Ronald was a member of Long Lake Lutheran Church. His hobbies included snowmobiling, especially with his brother, Steve, also he enjoyed working with both wood and steel and doing projects at his lakeside home.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Linda Ogdahl of Isanti; five children: Jennifer (Dan) Mohr of Columbus, Indiana, Stephani (Adam) Graning of Isanti, Thomas Wagner and Tonya Smersh of Isanti, Heather (Mark) Rosinski of Glendale, Ariz., and Erik (Allison) Kallevig of Palm Harbor, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; mother, Gladys Wagner of Albert Lea; three brothers: Steve (Chris) Wagner of Duluth, Robert (Julie) Wagner of Cottage Grove, and Paul (Rita) Peterson of Albert Lea; one sister, Lori Tauchnitz of Austin; former wife, Gayle Wagner of Hackensack; and by many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Long Lake Lutheran Church with the Rev. Matt Flom officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers are son, Thomas Wagner; brothers: Steve Wagner, Robert Wagner and Paul Peterson; cousin, Jim Veldman; life long best friend, Don Buley ; sons-in-law, Adam Graning and Dan Mohr and friends, Sean Cottrell and Blake Pendzimas. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel.
