Funeral services for Jane Melanie Piz were held Friday, April 6, 2012, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Windsor, Colo.

Jane was born March 1, 1959, to Melvin and Anina Hultman in Albert Lea, and passed away at her home on Monday, April 2, 2012.

After graduating from Central Senior High School in Albert Lea in 1977 and cosmetology school in Fort Collins, Colo., Jane married Dale Piz in Loveland, Colo.

Jane is survived by her husband, Dale, and three daughters at home, Amanda, Christina and Julianna, a step-daughter Amber Baumann and her children Cheyenne and Darian, of Phoenix; brother Bob, of Fort Collins; sisters Betty Rupp, of Las Vegas; Kathy (Jim) Jorgenson, of Owatonna; Cindy Gordon, of Albert Lea; Diane Bollig, of Windsor; and Pat (Quentin) Matson, of Albert Lea; father-in-law Joe Piz, of Denver; sister-in-law Pam Mascarenas, of Denver; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law Louise Piz, and brother-in-law Tom Gordon; Steve Bollig and Ray Mascarenas and great niece Kassi Haskins.

Jane loved being in cheerleading, gymnastics, camping, music, animals, being a mom, and hosting all family events and holidays at her home.
