Dorothy Beyer, 103, of Wells, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Mapleton Community Home in Mapleton. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The Rev. Katie Pals will officiate. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells. Dorothy was born on July 10, 1909, in Clark Township, Faribault County, to Herman and Emma (Theede) Wille. She was united in marriage to Arnold Beyer on June 26, 1929, in Wells.

Dorothy was a homemaker and lived on the farm with her husband, Arnold, and mother, Emma. She was a lifelong member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Dorothy loved to entertain family and friends.

Dorothy is survived by three nephews: Richard Stensrud of St. Louis, Robert Stensrud (wife Ann) of Johnston, Iowa, Allan Stensrud (wife JoAnn) of Freeborn, and numerous Beyer nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Arnold; and sister Ethel (husband Richard) Stensrud.
