ST. PAUL — Four people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving two cars that were speeding in the same direction on a St. Paul street.
Police are not saying that the cars were drag racing, but they are investigating.
The accident happened Friday afternoon on Minnehaha Avenue. Two cars were traveling at high speeds, when one car carrying three people lost control and flipped onto its roof. Sgt. Paul Paulos says all three occupants went to Regions Hospital and the extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Paulos says the driver of the second car also suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
Both drivers face arrest for possible criminal vehicular operation.
Police are still talking with witnesses to determine what happened before, during and after the crash.
