State Patrol seeks help to catch trucker

OWATONNA — The Steele County Road 45 bridge over Highway 14 near Owatonna was hit by a semi-truck hauling equipment on Friday.

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding the trucker responsible.

The bridge sustained some cosmetic damage. MnDOT crews have sealed up the exposed cables for the winter, and will come back in the spring to finish the repair work.

The semi driver left the scene of the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol is asking anyone with information about the bridge hit to contact Sgt. Jim Boley at 507-285-7406.
